This pattern is for intermediate crocheters or adventurous beginners. An adventurous beginner should be familiar with some special stitches: front and back post stitches and clusters.

Pattern notes:  

1. Please make yourself familiar with special stitches (front post stitches, clusters and puff stitches) before you start. I recommend learning how to make standing stitches and invisible joins. 
2. Start the new round with a standing stitch. Use an invisible join when you change colour in the next round.
3. This pattern includes a chart next to written instructions. Start each round at the number of the round with a standing stitch. Follow the round from right to left.
4. Block your coasters. This will make them more beautiful.
