Easily spot your child in a crowded playground!

This rainbow hat is the perfect ‘stash-buster’. Each colour stripe takes approx 5gms per colour so you can use up all those coloured oddments you have accumulated from other projects, I used a commercial gradient yarn (Sirdar Colour Wheel). The new Mandala wool would be good too.

It is knitted from side to side in a rectangular construction and is therefore a good project for even a novice knitter.

Knitted flat on 2 needles but with stitches picked up and knitted circularly for the brim.
