HugKnit Mini to hug and love, a wonderful gift for baby showers and new babies AND a super fun knit for you!

Mommies will love it because it offers all the softness and comfort of a favorite blanket but small enough to be carried about. Hint: Older children love them too.

You will need total of 150 yds total DK weight yarn. 15-30 yds of each of 7 colors. Knit-in-the-round, HugKnits Mini start at the neck with a provisional cast-on and the head is knit first. Provisional stitches are picked up and the blanket to full size with corner detail knit flat and knotted. Face details are added, head is stuffed w/4 grams of fiberfill and sewn securely closed. The hat is knit separately and sewn securely to the head. Tie in ends and done!

Techniques: Provisional cast-on, knitting-in-the-round. If you run into trouble, pattern support is always just an email away.

At gauge finishes approx. 9” square.
