You can’t have a rainbow without rain. I worked hard to turn some of my rain into these happy rainbow friends. We will crochet this little buddy from the tip of the hat to the tip of the toe. Arms and legs are crocheted directly onto the body, so no sewing, yay! Make sure you follow the correct instructions: there are instructions for left-handed and right-handed crocheters.

Because of the many colour switches I thought of a system, when a round is underlined, you will switch colour after that round. For the colour of the face, I will use - to let you know when to switch colours. If you use the same hook and yarn the finished rainbow doll will be approximately 25cm / 10 inch.
This doll makes a wonderful companion for children of all ages, rainbow enthusiasts or rainbow babies.

Pattern is in English and I use US crochet terms.

YARN

  • DROPS Muskat in desired skin colour.
  • DROPS Muskat in desired clothes colour.

HOOK
- 3mm / D-3

OTHER
- Darning needle, embroidery thread, scissors, filling wool.

Important: these dolls are ws out. I know rs out is considered to be the way to go. However, I like the touch, the curving and the look of ws out better. If you want the rs out, follow the instructions for the other hand. So if you’re right-handed, follow lh instructions.
