Bright Cheerful little hats in 3 variations.

Knitted bottom up from a choice of plain rib or a fancy mock cable rib.

Rainbow chevrons in a very simple pattern and topped with either pom-poms or tassels.

Any Chunky wool will do just as well. It is my experience (in U.K) that it is often the cheap acrylics which come in brilliant jewel clours which suit this project very well.
