> Rainbow Hedgehog

Rainbow Hedgehog
Any double knitting yarn is suitable. If you are doing rainbow colours you will need small amounts of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet - or similar. (Each colour of the rainbow is only used for one bubble stripe). The hedgehog also looks nice knitted in one colour for the back. A 100g ball of this colour would make several hedgehogs. Each hedgehog also needs a small amount of cream or beige yarn for the face and underbody and some dark grey or brown to embroider the eyes and nose. You will also need some toy stuffing. The finished hedgehog measures approximately 6 inches in length.
It has been assumed that the knitter is familiar with knitting pattern abbreviations. Bubble stitch is used for the body. There are several tutorials for this stitch on YouTube if you are not familiar with this stitch.
