Rainbow Hotpants
From Pattern Notes:
“Inspired by the unlikely combination of Thai fisherman’s pants and memories of 70s roller derby fashion, these hot pants are a great way to show off your assets and show a little pride.
A rundown on the design features of these hip little shorts:
* »Low-waisted, super short, totally gay, rainbow hot pants with sassy tie-front closure.
* »Uses simple mixture of knit & crochet stitches.
* »Knit from the top down in 4 stockinette panels, then edged & joined using single crochet.
* »Waistband built up on top of joined stockinette panels in simple single crochet rows.
* »Tie front closure created using picked up stitches along top of sc waist band using seed stitch.
* »Bottom edge of shorts left in unedged stockinette for a sexy little upcurl.
* »Body-conforming shaping done 2 stitches in from edge to form clean selvage for seaming.“
