Rainbow Interrupted
This pattern was inspired by the amazing mini skein gradient set from Canon Hand Dyes. I loved that there were so many colors but I was stumped about how to use them. I came up with this cowl as a way to show off the yarn and use every single inch. To add another layer of visual interest I rearranged the colors so that the different hues are interrupted by the lightest hue of the color to follow. Rainbow Interrupted is a quick knit that isn’t too challenging and with the color changes you’ll be saying ‘one more round…’
Details: This cowl is knit in the round using two simple stitch patterns. Because there are so many colors and tiny skeins I opted to use the Russian join method to prevent having so many hanging ends when you are finished. The design itself is tailored to this particular yarn so the cowl is a generous one size.
