Crochet pattern for a rippled rainbow throw. This is the larger version of our baby blanket with the same name.

This colourful blanket features a ripple design, and stitches worked into previous rows for a nice thick texture.

The pattern includes full instructions, plus photos and instructions for the pattern stitches.

If you are not familiar with stitching into previous rows, you will find you really need to pay attention in the first few rows. Once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing for the rest of the blanket. You should be familiar with double crochet, single crochet, chain, slip stitch, as well as how to follow a standard crochet pattern.

Materials: 14 balls of worsted weight “4” yarn. OR 2 each of 7 colours of yarn. You will also need a 6mm (J) crochet hook.

Finished blanket is: 58” x 42” (147 cm x 107cm)
