Mittens that allow a little one to catch a rainbow in the palm of their hands.

Inspired by some ‘vintage’ Button and Blue mittens from our AW18 collection, Look Up. Inspired by the childlike ability to look up and see the beauty around them that we often miss as busy grown ups, whether it’s a rainbow, the moon in the daytime of a funny shaped cloud!

The Rainbow Mittens are knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom up with just a small seam at the base of the thumb to sew up at the end.

The rainbow is worked using chain stitch embroidery and requires approximately 60” / 152cm per colour. Perfect for stash busting. The pattern contains a link to our video tutorial for chain stitch embroidery on knitting.
