Rainbow of Hope
The UK has been in isolation for a few weeks now. I work for the ambulance service and so have been at work as usual, but have had a few rest days last week, which were dedicated to knitting and crochet.
I have loved seeing rainbows painted and drawn in the windows in the local area around me; and after being tagged in the comments section of a crochet rainbow on facebook, decided to make my own.
This pattern is essentially a circle, folded in half to make a semi circle, this means all the ends can be knotted together and hidden inside, so don’t require weaving in.
Take care, wash your hands and please stay inside (remember, you’re not stuck at home, you’re safe at home).
You will need:
Yarn in every colour of the rainbow (or pick other colours that you like)
The size of crochet hook recommended on the label of the yarn
A pom pom maker (or 2 equal sized doughnut shapes cut out of a cereal box)
A sewing needle
Abbreviations:
Dc- double crochet (please note English crochet terms are used)
