Thank you so much Reading about the ‘Rainbow Petals’ Stash Buster Granny cardigan pattern. It’s a “TopDown/Raglan Style’ Cardigan. It is our New and Improved Update of the previous ‘Stash Buster Granny’ pattern. Shown in 2nd Photo – The NEW version now has the same 51 chain stitches for every size for the neck/beginning row, instead of different chain lengths as before for each size. Short or Long length instructions. Keeping it extra “beginner + friendly” and faster to complete. Using ‘Half Double Crochet’ stitches for the yoke and ¾ of the sleeves – and a ‘Double Crochet’ - ‘Granny Stitch’ pattern for ¼ of the sleeves and body.
I’ve used a dk/8ply/light worsted/3 weight yarn - Cotton Blend for the Short version. Acrylics used for the Long Version. The sizes begin from adult (early teen) size XS (extra small) - through to Adult size - 5XL (5 times X Large) written in US terms with easy to understand ‘step by step’ instructions and photos. The cardigan is sized to fit loose. For a super Over sized fit; go up a size OR use 10 ply/Aran/Worsted/4 weight yarn instead with appropriate size hook Or vice versa; go down a size or use a smaller hook size for a tighter fit

YARN - 8 ply/DK/3/Light Worsted – Cotton blend – or Acrylics you could also use 10ply/Aran if you go down a size or keep same size for a super oversize - for tighter fit - go up a size or use a smaller hook. There are no limits to what you can do.
