Crocheting with grocery sacks has been around for awhile, but think of all the un-recyclable plastic that your groceries come wrapped in.

This fun plastic tote bag gets it’s rainbow stripes from packaging plastic. My collection includes plastic that wrapped toilet paper, bread, beans, frozen vegetables, magazines, and more.

Because of the unique nature of the pattern, a specific yarn or yardage cannot be suggested. The sample used about 30 grocery sacks combined with a collection of packaging plastic to create the rainbow colors.
