This pattern is very easy and very giving and forgiving in terms of mistakes, changes, etc.
It’s one of these ‘start knitting and make changes as you go’.

Start by knitting the big bold bands using just one yarn.
At the second half add them all, 7 yarns per row, and knit the stripes on the right side.

Use a special untangle technique, which is to knit 2 strands together when changing color, and you will not need to wrap the yarns.
I love the idea that in order to separate things well (2 yarns in this case), what I need to do is simply mix them together at the border.
