This is a really fun crochet pattern for creating a pretty and cozy rainbow ripple blanket/Afghan.

Each step in the pattern is described in detail and includes a picture. My aim is to write “easy to follow” patterns :)

The example shown in the pictures is of a baby blanket (30 X 31.5’’/76 X 80cm), but you can crochet any blanket size you like.

The pattern includes 3 PDF files:

1. Detailed step by step photo tutorial for the blanket.
2. File without pictures for printing the blanket pattern.
3. Photo tutorial explaining how to join new yarn without a slipknot.

All are written in US English terms.

It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Beginner.
A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches required.

Materials:
1. Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply DK, 100 gr. mid weight yarn. Naturally, you can try the pattern with different yarns and hook sizes to get the softness/denseness you prefer.
In the example shown I used yarn in 7 colours (6 rainbow colours and white). The pattern will work well with 2 colours or more.
The amount of yarn required for different blanket sizes in rainbow colours, is detailed in the PDF file.

1. Size 4mm (Metric) G/6 (US) crochet hook.
2. Scissors.
3. Tapestry needle.
