This is a crochet pattern for the most wonderful rainbow-striped cat, Rainbow Sam! Please note this is a crochet pattern, not the finished physical item.

This easy (but not beginner) crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 50 grams each size #3 light (8/6) cotton yarn in black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, red, white
• Scrap amount size #3 light (8/6) cotton yarn in pink
• Size 3.00 mm D hook
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Fiber fill

Notes
• Rainbow Sam’s body and head are worked in one piece.
• Rainbow Sam’s limbs, tummy, ears, tail and cheeks are worked separately and sewn on.
• Rainbow Sam is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Rainbow Sam stands roughly 11 inches tall.
