Rainbow Shell Socks
This is our Rainbow Shell Sock pattern to benefit our sweet little Ben!
Ben is a little boy, 20 months old, who was born with Cerebral Palsy. This is a non-progressive motor condition
that causes physical disability. Ben’s parents have taken him to Monterrey, Mexico for stem cell therapy which is
currently not approved in Canada but is having a positive result with patients suffering from CP, strokes and other
neurological disorders.
Since undergoing the treatment, Ben has learned to chew his food and also roll over from his back to his
tummy. These may seem like small things for any child, but for a child with cerebral palsy, these are major
accomplishments.
Our mission in publishing this pattern is to donate 100% of the proceeds to finance a second treatment for Ben and
provide him the opportunity to improve further.
Ben and his family are very grateful for your purchase of this pattern and offer you their thanks.
