Rainbow Spinners
You probably made spinners from coloured cardboard when you were a child. These are much more substantial and can be made in very bright colours.
I made them a couple of years ago. I did not write the pattern at the time and didn’t take any construction photos. Many people are looking for rainbow patterns at the moment so it seems a good time to provide a brief explanation of how to make them.
You will need to know how to make circles, in knitting or crochet. The pattern refers you to other (free) patterns that might help.
All you need to make one is an old CD/DVD, two buttons, a length of ribbon and some oddments of yarn.
Here is a video of the spinners spinning.
