There is no kill like overkill! This 20-color crocheted spiral can use any combination of colors, and is perfect for the top of a cushion, the bottom of a bag, a mat, a doily, or a coaster, depending on how large or small you want to make it. This pattern has instructions for a 25-round – though I use the word “round” loosely – spiral, but the pattern can be extended or stopped early to achieve whatever size you want.

This is a great project for using up extra balls of yarn in many colors. You can just keep crocheting until you reach the end of the shortest one.
