Rainbow Sprinkles Pillow
My Sprinkles Pillow is my first ice cream shop inspired pillow. I am currently designing pillows that are made with ice cream colors. The first one is rainbow sprinkles. As you can see, my rainbow includes dark pink instead of red! I used MillaMia yarn, but any sport weight yarn would work. You will need three balls of the light pink, two balls of the cream, and one ball of each of the rainbow colors. The popcorn stitch center is created by crocheting with two balls of yarn at once- the cream and another color. A 5.00 mm hook is used for the center. There are step by step pictures to explain this technique! The outside is crocheted with light pink yarn (only one strand), so a 3.00 mm hook is used. The pillow is joined together with the cream yarn, and six buttons allow the pillow to be taken on and off of the pillow insert. If you like reading charts, there are charts included for the front and back side. There are also pictures throughout the pattern to demonstrate the steps.
