This big bright market bag has rainbow stripes covering it’s base and running all the way to its curvy frilled edge.
This fun bag is knitted on circular needles and then felted by washing in a normal clothes washing machine.
My 4 page pattern gives full and clear instructions covering knitting, making up and the all important felting method.

This rainbow bag uses-
800g (1600m) of felting wool
100g (200m) each of red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo(pale purple)
200g (400m) of violet (dark purple)

Knitted using 1 strand of DK / 8ply pure
wool - Handwash yarn.
To obtain a thick felt with no visible stitches ensure
your yarn is 100% pure handwash only wool
Beware of “Superwash” it will not felt!!

you will need
4 x 8mm (10.5 US) double point needles
8mm (10.5 US) x 80cm (32”) circular needles for the bag
8mm (10.5 US) x 150cm (60”) circular needles for the frill
1 row marker
8 stitch markers

tension - 12sts x 16 rows = 10cm square
