This pattern is for a simple striped hat, worked in trebles & half trebles (UK), with an optional rope cord to thread through to create a bow (on smaller sizes, we recommend stitching this cord in place for safety).

The hat can be made in sizes from 0-6m up to adult, and uses a total of between 70-150m of yarn, depending on size.
We used Drops Paris in our sample in the photograph.
Hook required 4.5mm
