This pattern is recommended for someone with some experience in amigurumi and is comfortable with handling small amigurumi parts and slightly more intricate sewing. This crochet pattern has 16 pages with 38 photos help you along. You will need to know these techniques for this pattern:

-Forming a magic ring
-Handling of small crochet parts
-Intermediate sewing skills
-Slip stitch (ss)
-single crochet (sc)
-single crochet increase (sc inc)
-single crochet decrease (sc dec)
-half double crochet (sc)
-double crochet (sc)
Using fingering yarn with 2.5mm hook will produce a palm size unicorn of about 9.5cm/ 3.6in tall and 5cm/ 1.9in wide. You can use a thicker yarn to make a larger unicorn and thinner yarn to make a smaller one.
The materials you will need for this project will be (based on fingering yarn):
-White yarn
-Pink yarn
-Purple yarn
-Pale Green yarn
-Baby Blue yarn
-Pastel Yellow yarn
-Black embroidery thread
-Stuffing
-Crochet Hook 2.5mm (or a hook size suitable for your yarn)
