This rainbow striped water bottle carrier is worked in the round from the bottom up. Start by making a flat base to the size you need, then determine how tall you want it to be and divide that number by 6 to discover how wide to make your stripes.

The strap is worked flat in garter stitch, starting in reverse rainbow order to the center then repeating the colors down the other side.

Yarn usage will vary depending on the size of your carrier but I used about 25 yards of purple and 16 yards of each of the other colors, so it’s a great stash buster if you had odd balls of these colors on hand.
