This pattern is adapted from my “Grandma’s Magic Blanket” pattern originally crocheted by my Grandma in the 1960’s and 70’s.

As children, my brother and I genuinely believed in the medicinal properties of a ‘Magic’ Blanket to make us better when we were poorly.

Now my brother is a daddy so I have updated the pattern for a new generation.

This pram/stroller blanket crochets up reasonably quickly, even for beginners. It is suitable for boys and girls so good if you don’t know the gender of the baby!

This pattern gives instructions for a blanket 90cm by 70cm but the pattern could easily be adapted to make it larger or smaller.
