What is a better combination for a girls beanie other then rainbows and cupcakes?
This pattern makes for the perfect stash buster. You can pretty much use any combination of colours for this pattern.

It uses an adaptation of cupcake border stitch and the heart stitch usually seen in blankets. The pattern is worked in two sections that are joined at the end or bottom up. Instructions for both are provided in the PDF along with a photo tutorial of the key steps.

Amount of Yarn Needed:

Colour 1: Red, 5m 7m approx
Colour 2: Orange, 6m 8mapprox
Colour 3: Yellow, 7m 9mapprox
Colour 4: Green,8m 10mapprox
Colour 5: Dark Blue, 10m 14mapprox
Colour 6: Purple, 12m 16mapprox
Colour 7: Green, 62m 76mapprox
Colour 8: Red, 16m 20mapprox
Colour 9: Blue Border, 12m 14mapprox
Colour 10: White, 10m 12mapprox
Colour 11: Pink, 5m 7mapprox
Colour 12: Brown, 14m 18mapprox
Colour 13: Light Blue, 28m 34mapprox
Colour 14: White, 51m 60mapprox
