Raincloud Socks
Little kids love wearing rainboots, and why shouldn’t they? They are easy to pull on, easy to clean with a hose, and perfect for jumping in streams and puddles. But I often find it difficult to find socks that are long enough to wear under the boots. So I thought, why not knit a pair? These socks are knit in the round with very soft Cherub Dk. I used a duplicate stitch to create the graphic. Duplicate stitch is a wonderful tool for doing colorwork on things that are knit in the round. It’s much simpler than fiddling with bobbins. It’s also a great technique for adding color to a plain knitted object.
