Raincouver Hat - fingering version

Raincouver - not only the name of my most recent design, but also a widely known nickname for the beautiful city of Vancouver. Covered in raindrops, this fun pattern is perfect for anyone who wants to make light of a day full of never-ending rain.

Only 2 skeins of Jamieson & Smith 2-ply Jumper Weight are needed to complete the hat (including the pom-pom).

Finished Measurements
Small (Medium/Large): 48.5cm/19”(52cm/20.5”) unstretched circumference; 21.5cm/8.5” height (after blocking).

Gauge
31 sts and 35 rnds = 4” (10cm) over stranded colorwork Chart A (blocked)

Needles
US 1 (2.25mm), US 1.5 (2.5mm) and US 2.5 (3mm), 16”(40cm) long circular needle, US 1.5 (2.5 mm) and US 2.5 (3mm), double-pointed needles (OR SIZES TO OBTAIN GAUGE)

Yarn
Jamieson & Smith 2-ply Jumper Weight, 100% Shetland Wool; 115m (125yds)/25 g;

Colorways:
MC (blue): FC47MIX, 91.2m/100yds (97m/106yds), 20g (21g) used
CC (gray): #27, 74.1m/81yds (86m/94yds), 16g (18g) used

The leftover yarn (MC + CC) was used to make a pom-pom.
