Raindrop is the second sweater included in the Mystery Sweater Club and is designed to be an enjoyable spring jacket/cardigan with personality.
This is a one-button cardigan mostly worked flat from the top down, with no charts included. The pattern features lots of optional details such as different sleeve lengths, short-row shaping and set-in pockets.
Knit it in a rich colour for an eye-catching garment or in a neutral colour for a casual look!
All the sweaters in the Club are quite simple to do, highly customizable and easy to wear.

Sizes XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
Finished chest circumference 31 (35, 39, 43, 46 ¾, 50½, 54½) inches/79 (89, 99 109, 119, 129, 139) cm. Measurements based on back measurement doubled at the underarm.

The sweater is intended to be worn with a little bit of positive ease at the chest. Please choose a size with 0-3 inches/0-7.5 cm of positive ease compared to your actual measurements.

Materials
♡ Approx. 820 (940, 1050, 1170, 1300, 1440, 1560) yards/750 (860, 960, 1070, 1190, 1320, 1430) meters of aran weight yarn.
Yardage is an estimate for ¾ sleeve length, for long sleeve version please add approx. 100-150 yards/90-140 meters.
About choosing yarn: the cardigan is designed with summer yarns in mind. You will have a great result in both inelastic blends as linen, cotton or bamboo and bouncy wool or wool blends (including superwash). For my sample I used a cotton/linen blend (93 yards/85 meters per 50 gr) in a shiny silver grey.

♡ 36”/90cm or longer US8/5mm circular needle or different size to obtain gauge.
♡ US8/5mm DPNs (optional, for collar and sleeves).
♡ crochet hook (for provisional CO).
♡ waste yarn (for provisional CO).
♡ 6 stitch markers.
♡ waste yarn or stitch holders (for holding sts).
♡ one button, approx.1 inch/2.5 cm in diameter.
♡ darning needle.

Gauge after blocking
16 sts & 23 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stst.
