Raindrops in the Ocean
Inspired by mommy+me matching outfits, this top/tunic was designed to be a mini version of the Make Waves Top. This fun summer piece features an easy to work lace hem, cord-ties that tie in the back, and raindrops that make the knitting experience more fun and engaging!
Construction notes:The top/tunic is worked from the bottom up and in the round, starting with the lace section, and continued with St st and with the raindrops effect (which you can skip if you prefer plain St st). Once the armholes are reached, the front and back are worked flat to create armhole shaping and neckline shaping. The shoulders are joined with the three-needle bind-off, and the neckline is finished with i-cord edging at the same time creating the cords to tie in the back.
