Being fortunate enough to live in a rainforest environment gives me plenty of opportunity to watch the dragonflies, as they go about their day!
This lightweight shawl was designed to blend in with their environment and to honour these amazing creature.
I used Wolltraum My Melody for this design, but any lightweight, similar yarn will work.

This is an intermediate level pattern.

Materials:
3.5mm/E hook
1 x Wolltraum My Melody 4
ply . Colour: Always. 450g per ball. Only 350g used.
Approximate total of yarn used 1710m/1870yd if gauge is met.

The edging is a traditional symbol graph.

Please note that this pattern is written for the size shown. The edging stitches work out correctly for this size. Any changes to the pattern will require your own recalculations.

This pattern has been tested by a large group with varying abilities in crochet.
