Raining Roses was a dream I had for a long time: to create a “proper” lace shawl with lots of pretty beads. The idea was always postponed for different projects, but when I received this lovely yarn cake it felt like a sign: it was time!
The project came to fruition quickly, and I just love how this shawl turned out! It’s a joy to wear on a sunny day and watch the beads shine and glisten, creating the illusion of a million raindrops over a flowerbed.

Yarn: Black Friday cotton cake (Hobbii), colour 11, 200 g/7 oz (one cake), 800 m/875 yds

Needles: 4 mm (US 6), 80 cm (32”) or longer circulars (or size to get gauge)

Gauge: 21,5 sts/32 rs in 10 cm/4” in body’s stitch pattern (see chart B, red window)

Size: 176 x 88 cm/69 x 34.5”
