A triangular lace shawl knitted from the top down, started with a garter tab cast on, then shaped by regular raglan type increases. A simpler stitch pattern is followed by a lace section, finally finished off with a picot cast off. The piece can be knitted with or without beads.

Raining Roses was a dream I had for a long time: to create a “proper” lace shawl with lots of pretty beads. The idea was always postponed for different projects, but when I received this lovely yarn cake it felt like a sign: it was time!
The project came to fruition quickly, and I just love how this shawl turned out! It’s a joy to wear on a sunny day and watch the beads shine and glisten, creating the illusion of a million raindrops over a flowerbed.
