This little shawl is inspired by my love of the Pacific Northwest. For me, cloudy days and rainstorms are uplifting and beautiful, so I created a motif celebrating those things. The capelet features bands of lace-bordered umbrellas with garter stitch canopies separated by eyelet bands in a darker, stormier color. Curl up somewhere warm and knit yourself a rainy day!
