Rainy Day Pocket Shawl
It doesn’t really snow that often in Tennessee, but we do get a lot of rain in the winter. It has the same effect on me. I still want to curl up with a book and a cup of coffee. This shawl is perfect for that. The textured stitch on this shawl looks like droplets to me. They are not that difficult to make if you are familiar with front post stitches and puff stitches. It gives texture and interest to this otherwise solid pattern.
This pattern requires NO sewing.
My finished shawl is 62” long and 16” wide. The pockets are 5.5” wide and 6.5” deep. If you are a tight crocheter, you may need to go up a hook size to achieve the same results as mine.
