Rainy Day Scarf
This scarf is inspired by my love of the Pacific Northwest. For me, cloudy days and rainstorms are uplifting and beautiful, so I created a motif celebrating those things. The scarf features lace-bordered umbrellas with garter stitch canopies in alternating shades of blue and purple. The seed stitch at each end makes me think of raindrops bouncing off pavement. And the lace squiggles running alongside the umbrellas looks like rain coursing down a windowpane. Curl up somewhere warm and knit yourself a rainy day!
