Made in worsted weight yarn, with a simple cable pattern, this project will fly off your hook in no time!

Sock begins by creating sole first, worked vertically in turned rows. Sole is temporarily set aside while back of ankle is created in vertical turned rows. Sole is joined to Back ankle and work continues in vertical turned rows to create the front ankle and top of foot, then piece is slip stitched to form a long tube (with an opening for heel). The gusset is created by using taller double crochet stitches, making for super simple construction. Heel is worked in the round, and then toe is worked in the round. Finishing the heel first will allow an accurate assessment of foot length- if sock needs to be longer, more rnds can be added to lengthen toe.

Socks are very stretchy. Choose a size that measures about 1-1.5” smaller than foot circumference and 1” shorter than foot measurement for best fit. Sock circumference can be chosen independently from sock foot length
