This hat can be made with any loom that has a peg multiple of 8.
Sample used CinDWood Small Gauge Adult Hat Loom, 3/8” 80 pegs.

Other looms with multiples of 8:
3/8” 72 peg (CinDWood Youth/Small Adult Hat Loom)
5/8” 48 peg (purple Knifty Knitter or CinDWood equivalent)

Solid yarn appropriate for loom gauge -- between 80-115 yards.
3/8” spacing -- use DK or worsted weight
5/8” spacing -- use bulky 5 yarn

Pattern uses U-Knit and Purl stitches.

Pattern includes both written directions and option to follow chart for body of hat.
