Ramble On Hat is a nice, cozy, slightly slouchy stocking cap perfect for taking a ramble in the woods.

The cables in this pattern are all charted (not written). They are worked over two rows to make them extra chunky. And the Waffle Stitch pattern reminds me of a cozy thermal shirt that I wore as a child camping. Perfect for a good ramble.

The sample was knit out of Malabrigo Rios and used 160 yards. I grew a good inch and a half after washing and blocking. As always, a gauge swatch knit and washed before checking gauge is a good preparation for a well fitting item.
