This collection of 8 designs (6 of which can either be knitted flat or in the round) are great stashbusters too - use leftovers for pompoms, cords and tassels.

Rambler is a traditional bobble hat with a Fair-Isle border. After working the k1, p1 rib turned back brim, the main body is worked in stocking stitch and the hat is topped with a pompom. The diamond pattern can be worked from the chart or written instructions and the hat can be knitted flat or in the round.

You will need approx 60(65,75)m of A, 60(65,75)m of B and 10(12,15)m of C in chunky yarn.
Oddments of 3 shades for pompom.

Pair of 6.5mm (US10½) needles to work flat or 6.5mm (US10½) circular needle or DPNs to work in the round
