The cuffs and brim are worked sideways, joined, and the body stitches are picked up from the edge and knit in the round. Use a heavy aran or light chunky wool for warmth and stitches with body.

adult version: 20 inches

Materials for adult version:
-215 yards aran/light chunky weight yarn
-size 7, 16 inch circular and double-pointed needles
-stitch marker

Gauge for adult version:
18 sts to 4 inches in stockinette stitch.
Hat band should measure 3.5 inches wide.
