Randolph Vest for Kids
This pattern is for children’s sizes from 6-12 months to 10 years. Please select the Randolph Vest for adult sizes. Thank you!
Boys and girls alike will love this super-soft cabled vest, a wardrobe essential that never goes out of style, is so easy to wear, and provides a cozy hug throughout the Autumn, Winter, and Spring. The vest includes enough positive ease to move and play with a shirt worn underneath (and ensures that there is room to grow, too). The texture of the cables shows up best in a smooth yarn that has a solid or mostly solid colorway.
The body is knit in the round from the bottom up to the armholes. The front and back are each knit flat and then seamed at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up around each armhole and the neckband to work the armbands and neckband, respectively. The armbands and neckband also feature professional looking (and optional) tubular edges. Feel free to adjust the length of the body for growth spurts!
