Random Butterflies
Random Butterflies is the result of a collaboration and challenge.
My daughter Michelle of Polliadesign, is a graphic artist who wanted to create a design made up of knitting symbols, something only those who knit would understand. She chose some symbols she liked and asked me to assemble them so they made some kind of sense. I put them together in what I thought might make an interesting hat.
The actual pattern is a little bit different than the graphic design due to unexpected increases/decreases and sizing but its close. The graphic design can be placed on shirts, mugs, bags and many other items. Links to where items may be purchased can be found at the end of the pattern.
Of course my ADD dictated that I create more than one pattern, so the latest update contains 5 variations.
I hope to see lots of new ideas from everyone as they experiment with the stitches and put them together in different ways.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, suggestions or errors you might find.
Wine Rating: 1 - 2 glasses depending on where you are in the pattern
Exercise Rating: Excellent for walking or elliptical riding because its a hat and easy to hold!!
Polliadesign art can be found on Amazon, Teepublic and Redbubble
The updated release on 9/15 contains 3 new variations. I have included charts and word instructions so it is a bit long, hopefully you can just print out the pages you need.
