No Intarsia! No stranding! No Bobbins! Just stripes!
I wanted an easy way to knit plaid while not having to worry about intarsia or lots of little bobbins of yarn so I thought, why not add the vertical element in the purl ravines of ribbing! That way your crochet slip stitches lay even with the surface of the knit stitches keeping the illusion of a single knitted piece.
