This is just the basic color chart for these mittens. Please feel free to print or save a copy for personal use. As this is not a professional pattern (more like a chart…) please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for details. 
The yardage depends on how long you prefer your cuff, hence the large difference.  But you will need 2 balls of Jaeger Yarn, one of each color.
