The raptor is 25.5” long from the tip of the tail to the nose. He is 16” around the widest part of
the belly (not including the legs) and 17.5” tall. All measurements are approximate. Your
finished raptor will vary slightly in size depending on the yarn, hook, and tension unique to you!

To make the raptor crochet pattern, you’ll need the following materials:
100% acrylic yarn, worsted weight (amounts and colors listed in the pattern)
Crochet hook size: 5.00mm & 4.00mm
At least one 20 oz. bag of stuffing (ex. Polyfil)
Tapestry needle
Sewing pins
Stitch markers or some other way to keep track of your stitches
Fabric glue
Optional: Cardboard and scissors to cut it with.
Optional: small amount of foam clay (or Crayola Model Magic) to make the teeth. You
will also need 18-20 toothpicks and something to stab them into while the clay dries,
such as a block of foam. And acrylic paint in either white or ivory.
