There is a choice of using either Magpie Aran, as above, or Chunky Chenille.

Needles sizes for Chenille version are 4mm (US 6) and 4.5mm (US 7)

Tension for Chenille version is 17 sts and 23 rows in 4 inches measured over pattern using 4.5mm (US 7) needles

Yardage remains the same both yarns (9 balls).
