Description
A dress with a princess touch is the perfect sweater dress for a fall or winter day. The dress is decorated with braids that are reminiscent of Rapunzel’s long lovely hair. The dress also has puff sleeves, and a fluffy skirt. A stitch diagram is included. Video tutorials of the stitches used are included in this pattern (see links below).

Materials
0-3 Months: Three skeins of Willow Yarns, Gosling (fingering weight), color: Sand Castle (209 yards per skein)
3-6 Months: Four skeins of Willow Yarns, Gosling (fingering weight), color: Sand Castle (209 yards per skein)
6-12 Months: Three skeins of Red Heart, Anne Geddes Baby (light weight), (340 yards per skein)
12-18 Months: Four skeins of Red Heart, Anne Geddes Baby (light weight), (340 yards per skein)

Supplies
0-3 Months: 3.25 mm Crochet Hook
3- 6 Months: 4.5 mm Crochet Hook
6-12 Months: 4.5 mm Crochet Hook
12-18 Months: 5 mm Crochet Hook

Dress dimensions:
0-3 Months: 8 inches wide (double number for circumference) and 12 inches long
3-6 Months: 9.5 inches wide (double number for circumference) and 15 inches long
6-12 Months: 11 inches wide (double number for circumference) and 15 inches long
12-18 Months: 11 inches wide (double number for circumference) and 18 inches long
Note: The dress length can be increased or decreased as desired by added more or less rows to the skirt.

Gauge:
0-3 Months: 5 dc stitches wide by 4 dc rows high is 1 inch by 1 inch
3- 6 Months: 4 dc stitches wide by 3 dc rows high is 1 inch by 1 inch
6-12 Months: 3 dc stitches wide by 3 dc rows high is 1 inch by 1 inch
12-18 Months: 3 dc stitches wide by 2 dc rows high is 1 inch by 1 inch
Note: This gauge uses the extended stitches detailed below. If you wish to not use these extended stitches you may need a different hook size to reach gauge.
