This sweater was designed for a 10 lb Shih Tzu. I kept her clipped, so she needed a coat in the winter! She was stocky and barrel chested. No neck to speak of. The sweater, while the right basic size, is all wrong for my new Cavalier King Charles puppy. He needs the leg holes to be further back and closer to the center chest, the body somewhat longer, and a longer turtle neck. All easy changes to make.

I think I only used one skein for this sweater, but I made it a few weeks before she died, so my memory is a bit sketchy on that. You may want a second skein, just in case.

This was written up from my notes, as several people wanted it. It hasn’t been tested, but it should not be too hard to wing it if there are mistakes, there really isn’t much to it. Send me a PM if something makes no sense or you find a mistake and I will attempt to correct and update the pattern.
