“This pattern includes instructions for three different options: traditional mittens, fingerless mitts, and fingerless mitts with a flap,” explains Outi Kater. “A braided two-colour cast-on has been used for casting on stitches for the flap.” Outi’s design is knitted in four shades of Shetland wool from Jamieson & Smith.
